Rooms Division Internship Program:
 

Internship students will be immersed in the multi-faceted Rooms Division and our culture of creating enriching experiences at Loews Hotels & Co. From 24/7 guest service to seamless housekeeping, our Rooms Division team plays a critical role in the Heart of the House and Front of the House, delivering memorable hospitality every single day.

Rooms Division Internships are available at the following properties during select semesters in 2024: New York City, Hollywood, Kansas City, and multiple Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando including Loews Royal Pacific, Loews Sapphire Falls, Loews Hard Rock Hotels, Loews Portofino Bay.

Guest service standards across different areas including Front Desk, Concierge, VIP TeamOverview of Housekeeping operationsShift opening and closing proceduresOpera and moreUpselling and group standards, management meetings etc.Advanced learning may include exposure to supervisory duties, understanding management reports etc.Value-added internship experiences include immersion in Loews culture by experiencing our organizational programs focused on Team Member Engagement, DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion), and Learning & Development.

Mentors will provide:

Helpful professional feedback and support during your experience.Exposure to leadership tasksUnderstanding management reports in Housekeeping and Front OfficeInterns will be responsible for completing their weekly reflections in order to capture their learning and maximize the mentoring experience

What You Bring

Students must be currently enrolled in an accredited, US-based college or university, and be in good academic standing, in order to apply for an internship.Positive attitude, strong work ethic and eagerness to learnDesire and ability to work with others collaborativelyExcellent communication skills – both oral and writtenExceptional guest service skillsEffective management, leadership, and organizational skills with a focus on details quality and consistencyAbility to work flexible schedule to include some weekends and holidays
