Compensation: $35.00/hrLocation: Deer Park, TXWork Schedule: 10/4 rotationAssignment Duration: Long-term to directBenefits: Comprehensive insurance, 401(k) program, PTO & HolidaysRequirements: Must have strong knowledge of rotating equipment maintenance Responsibilities Perform inspection, repair, and replacement of pumps, motors, mechanicals seals, gearboxes, compressors, and other rotating equipment. Align and balance rotating equipment using precision tools and techniquesDismantle, rebuild, and install machinery and subcomponents to ensure smooth operationAddress the existing backlog of PM tasks, focusing on equipment reliability to break the reactive maintenance cycleExecute tasks such as pump replacements, shaft alignments, bearing inspections, and lubrication of machinerySupport the demo and replacement of deteriorated pump assemblies and componentsRespond to emergency call-outs to troubleshoot and repair equipment failures promptly, ensuring production continuityDiagnose malfunctioning equipment, identify root causes, and execute corrective actions efficiently. Document all repairs and downtime events accuratelyPerform rigging, moving, and installation of heavy equipment using cranes, hoists, and rigging toolsInstall new equipment, ensuring proper foundation, alignment, and secure fasteningFollow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE, LOTO procedures, and compliance with plant safety guidelinesMaintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to housekeeping standardsWork closely with the maintenance manager and operations team to prioritize tasks and align maintenance efforts with plant goalsSupport continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing equipment reliability and reducing unplanned downtimeAssist in identifying areas for mechanical and operational improvements Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience as a Millwright in an industrial or chemical plant environment, with a strong emphasis on rotating equipmentProficiency in troubleshooting mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumaticsExperience with precision tools for alignment, vibration analysis, and measurementsAbility to respond to call-outs, work 12-hour shifts, weekends, and overtime as neededHigh School diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus
