**Job Title: Rough Carpenter**

**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Rough Carpenter with 2-3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing rough carpentry tasks on various construction projects, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform rough carpentry tasks, including framing, blocking, and installing temporary structures.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
+ Measure, cut, and shape materials such as wood, plastic, and fiberglass.
+ Ensure projects comply with building codes and safety regulations.
+ Collaborate with other construction professionals, including electricians, plumbers, and project managers.
+ Inspect and evaluate the quality of work performed.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve carpentry issues as they arise.
+ Maintain project schedules and communicate progress to project managers.
+ Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2-3 years of commercial rough carpentry experience.
+ Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
+ Strong knowledge of carpentry systems, materials, tools, and methods.
+ Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
+ High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
+ Good communication and interpersonal skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
+ Basic leadership and team management skills.
+ Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
+ Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
+ Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
+ Own set of tools.

**Work Environment**
You will be working on renovating a Health facility in Lewistown, PA. The role involves using various hand and power tools and requires adherence to strict safety standards. The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, with opportunities to engage with other construction professionals.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lock Haven, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00
