Job Description
Position Purpose
The CHEP Route Diver, Pallet Collection will be responsible for executing multiple less-than-truckload deliveries and collections daily. They will be responsible for route and volume optimization through the development of customer and internal support partnerships. They will be actively involved in the development and implementation of key growth components of the CHEP LVR (Low Volume Recovery) Program. This will include partnering with multiple internal functions, building, and executing project plans as well as leading teammates through training of new processes.

Operate a CHEP owned box truck (or similar equipment) in compliance with all DOT (Department of Transportation) Regulations and CHEP Safety requirementsExecute deliveries and collection of empty pallets (and possibly other assets) at locations provided by CHEP as efficiently as possibleWork with local customers on program compliance to drive efficiencies and increase collection volumesDocument all delivery and collection data (times, mileages, volumes, customer comments, etc.) and communicate to CHEP LVR support personnelVisit potential collection locations to explain the CHEP LVR Program, gather data/information with the goal being adding locations to the Program’s customer baseDevelop, communicate, and implement improved processes focusing on key performance areas within the LVR operationsPartner with internal resources to build and execute project plansServe as a resource and trainer for LVR Representatives on key performance areasMeasures
