Position Purpose:The role is responsible primarily for coordinating the transport operations of the Ireland services centre to satisfy the needs of the network and the customer through the efficient use of cost-effective methodologies. Maintenance of the service centre’s overall traffic schedule with up-to-date information ensuring that there are adequate transport provisions for the service centre to meet its business objectives, ensuring physical demand is matched by site capability. Supporting and maintaining a strong customer service is key to this role. This role will act as key contact between Sales and Operations.
Key Job Activities:Plans and manages Shred-it auto routing system for clients.
Keeps overtime to a minimum according to the company targets ensuring the cost-effective deployment of resource.
Resolves service problems in accordance within set deadlines.
Managing all incoming collection schedules by entering onto systems and validating the content against collection point criteria whilst identifying any potential issues.
Route audits of client calls so as to ensure maximum optimization of return on assets and client satisfaction.
Ensuring fleet management with regards to availability for daily routing, incoherence with maintenance provider and Shred-it mechanic.
Liaison with Sales Team with regards to both current and new customer requirements.
Providing a high level of customer service and communication, ensuring all information requests are dealt with in a timely manner.
Ensuring all traffic planning activity is undertaken in line with legislative requirements and using all appropriate IT systems.
Prepares and distributes daily work schedules for CSR’s (using ARP systems).
Provides sales support for customer scheduling as required.
Ensures that Customer Service Representatives are supported early mornings and late afternoons.
Review CSR Log Sheets daily and take corrective action as appropriate.
Education:College or University Degree or relevant business experience.
Experience (EMEAA):Routing (ARP) or similar.
Previous experience within a transport / logistics organization is required.
Balancing of routes on a day to day basis in a multi drop environment.
Multiple truck/customer operation over a large geographic area.
Customer Service Orientation via phone.
Fleet Maintenance.
Proficient in Excel and Word.
Is required to have good geographical knowledge of his/her geographic area of responsibility.
Must have working knowledge of driver hours regulations.
Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
Must have good organizational skills of self and others.
Effective communication skills.
Must have excellent IT skills.
Must have the ability to work under pressure and react quickly to customer requirements.
Must have excellent customer service skills and a commercial understanding.
A clear CRB check is required.
