JOB SUMMARY

This Information Technology (IT) position will actively participate in the analysis, development and implementation of automated solutions via a number of technologies. Primary focus is Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Software Development using a leading edge tool, Automation Anywhere.

The RPA Developer is responsible for participating in the design, development, testing, deployment and support of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and intelligent automation solutions for a wide range of business processes and process improvement opportunities. This position is open to software developers without RPA experience.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and build automation high quality code and processes to address business and technical needs.Design and build of automation operational metrics, monitoring, tracking and alerting.Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards resolution.Develop operational reporting and alerting components.Communicate effectively across multiple teams, as well as different personnel (Developers, Scrum Masters, Project Managers, etc.) when required.Conduct automation execution support as required.Analyze data and application changes and document their impact on the performance automation task (test cases, scripting, scenario execution, etc.)Ensure the appropriate automation tools/technologies are configured accordingly.Support RPA Controller activities as necessary which includes RPA Control Room management, scheduling management, environment management and oversight of overall RPA environment health.Expected to maintain technical expertise via self-education in areas governing computer sciences and process automation.The applicant must have the ability to adapt to change and easily switch context in a dynamic environment.Contribute to a highly productive work environment by striving for excellence through exceeding expectations; following and/or improving on established work procedures and methodology and responding to information flow in a timely manner. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field3 years of experience as a developerExperience with Project Management toolsExperience with databasesExperience with multiple coding languages

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or Software Engineering,At least 3 years of high-quality application development experience.At least 1 years of experience with process automation development with any tooling.  Automation Anywhere preferred.Demonstrated unit and functional test experience, including test analysis.Experience in developing applications using Java, .Net or Python a plus.Any of the following certifications a plus; ITIL, TOGAF & Lean Six Sigma a plusProven hands-on experience in analysis, design, development, and implementation of automated solutions a plus.

SKILLS

Ability to design, build, program, test and deploy RPA solutions using an Agile methodology.Ability to optimize code/script using industry best practices and standards.Good understanding of RDBMS concepts, especially with Oracle database environment is a plus.Knowledge of XML is a plus.Ability to work in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.Strong self-organization and self-management skills, with emphasis on self-initiation and follow through.Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.Knowledge of Health Care Insurance Industry & data standards (e.g.: HIPAA) considered a plus.Strong communication and team skills.
