Job Family Definition:
Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet- related computer programs, primarily for end users. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications. What you’ll do:
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced AUTOMATION Support Specialist with a strong background in AUTOMATION with proficiency in Java, WorkFusion, and ITIL practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting AUTOMATION infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth deployment processes using CI/CD methodologies. You will collaborate with development teams and business users to enhance AUTOMATION solutions and provide technical support to users.
Key Responsibilities:
1. AUTOMATION Infrastructure Support:
- Monitor and maintain the AUTOMATION environment to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve RPA-related issues, including bot failures, performance bottlenecks, and connectivity problems.
- Conduct regular system health checks and performance tuning to ensure efficient operation.
2. Development and Enhancement:
- Assist in the development of AUTOMATION workflows and enhancements to existing projects using WorkFusion, POWER PLATFORM and other tools as required.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for enhancements and implement changes as necessary.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure quality and efficiency in AUTOMATION development.
3. AUTOMATION Management:
- Implement CI/CD practices for AUTOMATION deployments, including version control using GIT.
- Automate deployment processes and manage environment configurations.
- Apply and adhere to best practices and organisation SLA for incident management, change management, and problem management.
- Ensure that AUTOMATION solutions are compliant with organizational policies and IT governance frameworks.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of AUTOMATION processes, workflows, and operational procedures.
- Generate reports on AUTOMATION performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
6. User Support and Training:
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on AUTOMATION tools and processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective AUTOMATION solutions.
7. Collaboration:
- Work closely with development, IT support, and project management teams to ensure successful AUTOMATION implementation and maintenance.
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss project status, challenges, and opportunities for enhancement.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Backup and Recovery:
- Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures to protect AUTOMATION assets.
2. Security Management:
- Ensure AUTOMATION applications and infrastructure are secure and comply with organizational security policies.
3. Performance Monitoring:
- Utilize monitoring tools to track AUTOMATION performance and user interactions, optimizing as necessary.
4. Application Management:
- Stay updated with the latest upgrades, software updates and patches for the AUTOMATION tools and the related systems.
What you need to bring:
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in AUTOMATION support and development.
- Proficiency in WorkFusion, MS Power Platform and experience with Java programming.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and experience with GIT for version control.
Desired Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Experience with other AUTOMATION tools (e.g., UiPath, AUTOMATION Anywhere) is a plus.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and practices, preferably with ITIL certification.
