How you'll make an impact - Oversee the sales and operations of the Chicago RPS market. - Manage a large team and ensure growth of the office. - Direct administrative, data processing, and financial functions of the branch. - Meet financial, service, and administrative goals of the agency. - Advise regional management of any financial variances. - Prepare branch budgeting and planning, and monitor related results. - Make day-to-day operational decisions to meet branch objectives. - Interview and select new employees. - Analyze branch financials and report each department's financial goals. - Maintain and coordinate the branch's disaster recovery plan. - Ensure timely completion of departmental operational projects. - Coordinate special projects as requested by corporate. - Assist sales personnel in developing and achieving goals. - Oversee the marketing process. - Develop and maintain relationships with corporate employees. - Maintain files for company contracts and agreements. - Monitor material claims and inform regional manager and/or corporate legal of any issues. - Monitor possible errors and omissions claims and advise corporate and regional management of any material issues. About You Requirements: Bachelor's degree. Minimum of 7 years related experience. Has a solid understanding of accepted insurance practices and principles. Possesses general knowledge of computer operating and network systems, along with the technological expertise to assist in branch decision-making. Preferred Qualifications: Wholesale Insurance experience. Sales team management experience. Operations team management experience. Behaviors: Ability to effectively lead and direct accounting staff. Excellent communication skills. Exercises independent judgment. Self directed with problem solving skills and analytical skills in resolving complex problems.
