Job Description
The Project Engineer assists the Project Manager by helping to lead, organize, and oversee the completion of assigned construction projects. This role ensures work quality, safety, and profitability standards are met. There is potential for growth into a Project Manager position over time.
Responsibilities
Manage work for construction projects as directed by the Project Manager.Supervise Foremen and conduct daily inspections to ensure efficient use of resources.Allocate personnel based on project needs and staff skills.Ensure safety standards are followed and address hazards at the work site.Address safety violations and take necessary disciplinary actions.Meet with customer representatives with the Project Manager to discuss requirements and updates.Process invoices, submittals, change orders, and other necessary documentation.Complete and submit required construction reports.Follow and meet quality control procedures for both customer and company.Identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement.Update project schedules and attend meetings with owners and subcontractors.Troubleshoot and resolve construction issues with appropriate staff.Regularly update the Project Manager and CEO on progress, schedule, and safety.Essential Skills

At least 6 months of experience in the Project Engineer role, ORA degree in Construction ManagementRecent graduates encouraged to apply**Work Environment
This role involves managing construction sites, ensuring safety standards, and communicating with stakeholders. It requires the use of Procore software and adherence to quality control procedures. You will attend meetings with owners and subcontractors and may troubleshoot on-site issues.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $43.00
