Research Regulatory Analyst III
Job Description:The Job Location is in Jupiter, Florida (Palm Beach County).
Conduct review of IACUC protocol submissions, assist Principal Investigators/laboratory staff with protocol submissions, and serve as a liaison between the research community and the IACUC during protocol review. Develop training and educational programs and program materials for faculty, staff, administrators, and students. Responsible for Quality Assurance oversight of IACUC processes.
Organize and assist with semiannual facility inspections and semiannual program review.
Coordinate IACUC meetings and serve as communication lead with Committee.
Prepare regulatory reports.
Cross train and assist in other regulatory activities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:Master's degree in an appropriate area and one year of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in biology, life science, or related field, and four (4) years of experience in biomedical research or regulatory affairs. Experience must have been obtained in facilities utilizing NIH funding that follow requirements set forth by OLAW, as well as the AAALAC Int'l, and the USDA.
Strong preference for individuals with a proven track record as an IACUC coordinator, animal research lab manager, animal husbandry, or veterinarian technician.
Certification as an AALAS technician (ALAS, LAT, or LATG) or Certified Professional IACUC Administrator (CPIA) preferred. Certified Professional in IACUC Administration (CPIA).
Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, having the ability to interact with people from a wide range of scientific and medical experience.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access and other appropriate programs.
