Exciting Opportunity: RSI Outreach Recovery Coordinator, 2 Roles available 

 

Are you experienced, skilled, and passionate about working with those experiencing homelessness? We're seeking a dedicated Outreach Recovery Coordinator to engage and assess our service users, ensuring they receive timely, personalised interventions that cater to their unique needs. 

 

At our Birmingham service, we are dedicated to providing support for individuals who access our services. We aim to empower every individual by offering holistic support and personalised treatment to meet their unique needs. We provide a range of options, including one-to-one and group sessions, complemented by medical and clinical treatments.

 

This role will be a physically active one as you will be supporting some of our most vunerable service users and are expected to be out and about daily sometimes unsociable hours engaging indivdiuals across Birmingham supporting them with their substance misuse treatment.

 

Location: Birmingham
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Full time Salary range: £27,449.53 - £31,529.41 pro rata for part time hours

Responsibilities

Purpose of role:

To engage with a range of individuals in Birmingham who have adopted a ‘street-based lifestyle’ including rough sleepers and beggars with a view to engaging them in appropriate services and moving them into more settled lifestyles.Increase service user choice, service user involvement and empower service users to maintain sustainable change; working collaboratively and proactively to ensure that services are fully co-ordinated and are working collectively towards the achievement of goals and positives outcomes for each individual client.To build and develop service users’ personal strengths and social networks in the UK and/or in the individual’s country of origin.Establish effective communication and referral pathways for those individuals who are homeless and in contact with other health and care agenciesWorking closely with the local authority, Health & social care sector, partners and any provision linked to Homelessness and improve joint working

To provide a range of flexible and effective interventions to engage with hard-to-reach service users.
