This role is a shift supervisor who leads a team of operators in a Regional Security Operations Center (RSOC). The operations tempo is 12-hours-on-12-hours-off for four days followed by four days off. All personnel work weekends and weekdays due to the four-days-on-four-days-off schedule. Shift change is at 0600 and 1800. In the RSOC, the supervisor is responsible for ensuring operators maintain a high level of performance across the 12-hour shift. The RSOC is responsible for maintaining an up-to-the-minute situational awareness of all client properties using video, audio and access control data feeds. In response to video capture and incident reporting, the RSOC is responsible for dispatching private security personnel, and requesting assistance from emergency services and local law enforcement in accordance with established procedures. In addition, the RSOC identifies property damage, security gaps, and other risk factors and makes proper notification to ensure issues are mitigated before they become problems. The RSOC supervisor also manages the on-time production of intelligence-driven daily incident reports which accurately detail events, assess risks and mitigate vulnerabilities to the client’s assets, operations and reputation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLead a team of RSOC operators to achieve a high-performance standard in a high stress environment.Continuously assess the threat environment, manage personnel, and direct resources to maximize incident detection, incident management, and operational coverage while mitigating risk.Manage the effective operation of video surveillance systems, CCTV, alarm monitors, and access control systems across a variety of technical platforms.Consolidate, review, and approve a range of incident reports for delivery to senior managers and client leadership by established deadlines.Direct RSOC operators in effective intelligence collection, analysis, and reporting.Accurately assess and clearly communicate rapidly evolving events to senior managers in a timely fashion according to policy and procedure.Ensure rapid dispatch of security personnel for quick mitigation and resolution of security incidents.GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

The RSOC Supervisor must have:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing or supervising people in an operational setting such as the military, law enforcement, GSOC, SOC, or dispatch center. A four-year College Degree in a relevant specialty.Strong leadership abilities.A passion for analysis, problem-solving, and advising or informing decision-makers. Effective writing and public speaking skills. Proven ability to communicate and lead while operating in stressful situations.Experience in adjusting resources in response to changing requirements.Experience using CCTV and alarm monitoring software in coordination with a security operations center.Proficiency in MS Office applications. Experience with Microsoft SharePoint is a plus.Proven ability to work with highly confidential/proprietary information.Demonstrated ability to work with limited oversight.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS and skills

Experience managing shift workers in high-visibility, high-stress environments.Strong familiarity with physical security information management systemsand mass notification systems. Advanced proficiency in intelligence reporting processes with particular emphasis on utilizing OSINT reporting.
