The Process Operator will be responsible for the manufacturing and handling of raw materials and/or finished products at the plant. A successful applicant will be responsible for safely operating equipment in the assigned area while maintaining a high degree of quality for our products and working as efficiently as possible for our continuous operation facilities.

Core Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

Varying levels of positions may include the following tasks:

Operating mechanized equipment safely, efficiently, and within specifications. Troubleshooting, inspecting, and fixing issues that arise with equipment as applicable. Identifying and recommending opportunities for improvement.Monitoring the operation from the control room on computers, if applicableSampling and testing productsPreparing railcars and trucks; loading and unloading trucks, railcars and bags, as necessaryPacking, inspecting, and dumping bags, totes, sacks or drumsFilling tanks or transferring product as necessaryPerforming tasks of varying physical demand such as moving hoses and cleaning equipmentMaintaining inventoryHandling movement of and working with chemicals as appropriatePerforming other duties as requiredContinuous learning of other job duties and/or positions as required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Work Environment:

Ability to work in potentially loud and in strong odorous environments, different physical environments, or in various weather conditionsMust be able to move about in the processing areas and be able to do the following: lift and carry 50 pounds, stand and walk for sustained periods; climb stairs and ladders; bend; reach; push; pull, enter tanks, and wear harness

Position type and expected hours of work: Full time position, 4 shifts (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm,11pm-7am, and swinging shift that assists when the others rest), availability for any of the 4 shifts is required since shift is assigned after hiring.

Be willing to work any day of the week, including holidays (7 days on, 1 day off, then 7 on, 2 off, then 7 on, then 4 off). Overtime required regularly.

Required education and experience:

High school diploma or GED required Must be able to complete pre-employment assessments as requiredMust be able to pass a background check for education, work history, and criminal recordMust be able to successfully pass a physical and drug screen as applicable by local government
