**Principal Business Analyst – SAP S4 RTR**
**Job Summary**
The primary responsibility of the Senior Business Analyst – SAP S4 RTR (Record-To-Report) is the analysis and resolution of complex, cross-module, functional SAP S/4 issues in Finance (SAP Modules: FI and CO).
The role performs root-cause-analysis, targeted end-user training and provides consulting services to design/project/technical teams.
This role will provide leadership and expertise to junior members of the team and drives identification of opportunities for the effective use of SAP- S/4 related technology and the implementation of SAP-related solutions.
**Job Duties**
+ Functions as the primary production support contact for RTR operations – spanning across SAP modules: Finance and Controlling and business user communities (end-users, key-users, process owners).
+ Provide leadership across organizations related to SAP S/4HANA Production support and problem resolution.
+ Serve as liaison between the support SAP team and other internal IT organizations and technical groups like BASIS and Technical/ Development Team to resolve complex issues.
+ Review the resolution and proposed solutions for business and assess their technical impact and to determine if overall results and objectives have been achieved in accordance with the existing global template and regulatory standards.
+ Ensure service level management (SLA) compliance through the application of functional and technical expertise, delivering efficient application maintenance and support while confirming adherence to all business, compliance, security, and regulatory requirements in a validated environment.
+ Ensure change control, access control, and landscape management processes are followed.
+ Evaluates and decides on approval for moving support-driven changes to production.
+ Participate in other project/ enhancement assignments as needed.
+ Monitor, document, and respond to cross functional interdependencies, common implementation problems, and the opportunities for improvement resulting in successful Hypercare and efficient/ effective transition to steady state post Go Live of major SAP projects, upgrades, rollouts, and enhancements.
+ Monitor system performance and system alerts and respond accordingly.
**Minimum Education Qualifications/Experience**
+ A recognized bachelor’s degree qualification
+ 7+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling, or similar capacity along with experience in project delivery of all phases of software development lifecycle.
+ Hands-on expertise (customization or configuration) in SAP S/4 HANA FICO
+ General understanding of Integration of SAP S/4 HANA FICO to other relevant modules.
+ First-hand experience in template design and business consulting
+ First-hand experience with SAP S/4HANA Platform is a must.
**Technical and Functional Experience Required**
+ Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. Maintain highest standards of customer service and business professionalism.
+ Comprehensive understanding of SAP-based operations processes used in the company’s business model.
+ Able to develop user stories and requirements in collaboration with global, multi-division business model, backend systems, technologies, and architecture.
+ Has technical product knowledge or specific domain expertise with SAP S/4HANA, as well as subject matter knowledge within products and business processes related to Finance & Controlling.
+ SAP S/4 HANA FICO expertise including but not limited to system configuration, functional specification, unit testing & UAT test script, and interface documentation skills.
+ Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with development teams.
+ Extensive understanding of key functional processes and configuration aspects within S/4 HANA Finance and Controlling areas, which includes,
+ Currency, Tax and Banking
+ General ledger Accounting
+ Accounts Receivable
+ Accounts Payable
+ Fixed Assets
+ Cross-company code accounting
+ Integration of FI and SD, FI and MM, FI and HR,
+ Cost element
+ Cost Center Accounting
+ Profit Center Accounting
+ Internal orders
+ Project System
+ Product Costing within process manufacturing industries (Lite version)
+ Profitability Analysis (COPA)
+ Revenue and Recognition (RAR)
+ Good understanding of Accounting and FP&A Reports
+ Extensive understanding and experience of Implementation and Support of SAP FICO and its integration with other modules.
+ Extensive knowledge on Inter-Company processes.
+ Extensive SAP interfaces and IDoc experience, especially with respect to 3PL integration.
+ Good knowledge on SAP Security & Authorization knowledge.
+ Good knowledge on S/4HANA features (Fiori Apps).
