Identify heat zones to reflect required amount of heat needed for mold. Compensate for variations in temperature to ensure accurate mold. Perform test to verify quality of product upon completion. Ability to Do the Work of the Position without More Than Normal Supervision Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. (Includes Blueprint Reading) Ability to Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, and Repair, etc. Knowledge of Materials Technical Practices (Theoretical, Precise, Artistic) Use of Measuring Instruments Physical Efforts-The work requires moderate to strenuous effort, continuous standing, walking, climbing, stooping and bending. Workers frequently lift and carry track shoes weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted and occasionally items weighing over 50 pounds with assistance of other workers or weight handling equipment. Requires normal visual acuity, field of vision, depth perception and reaction time. Working Conditions-Works inside a shop building on concrete surface. Workers are subject to noise, high temperatures, rubber dust, dirt, grease, solvents, detergents, oil, and fumes in the work area. Subject to burns, loss or fracture of fingers or other extremities.
