About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Staff DevOps Engineer with at least 8-10 years of proven expertise in DevOps practices. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with our global DevOps and internal Engineering teams to resolve production issues, ensure seamless application deployments, and optimize our backend infrastructure.

 

This senior-level position requires a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to technical excellence. You will be instrumental in maintaining and scaling our production systems, driving best practices, and fostering collaboration across teams to ensure optimal performance.

 

Key Responsibilities and Skillset Required:

Demonstrate at least 8-10 years of experience in a senior / lead DevOps capacity. Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across Engineering and DevOps teams. Take ownership of tasks and lead initiatives with a proactive, solution-oriented approach. Possess proficiency with hyperscaler platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure (GCP experience is a plus). Implement and advocate for DevOps best practices and tools, including: Managing and scaling Kubernetes clusters. Working with streaming and big data technologies such as Kafka and Spark. Designing and maintaining Continuous Delivery pipelines using tools like ArgoCD and Jenkins. Implementing GitOps workflows with tools like Terraform. Effectively applying data migration tools and techniques. Exhibit a strong track record of troubleshooting and resolving production issues within Kubernetes environments, utilizing: Advanced monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). Logging tools (e.g., ELK stack). Demonstrate expertise in relational SQL databases (particularly PostgreSQL) and at least one time-series database (e.g., Druid, Clickhouse, or StarRocks). Write and maintain shell scripts to automate infrastructure tasks.
