Position Summary:

ASM Global - Richmond, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for a Production Runner at Altria Theater and Dominion Energy Center. Under general direction of the Production/Events Manager, this individual is responsible for various errands associated with the production and operations of various shows.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide transportation for various personnel throughout the show day, such as hotel and airport pickups and drop offs using either personal car or company-provided vehicleRun errands such as department meals, laundry, grocery shopping, package delivery, equipment rentals, coffee runs, etc.Coordinate large take-out orders with local restaurants, purchasing, retrieving, and distributing to touring personnelCoordinate large shopping lists from local grocery stores, deliver to the venueAssist production staff with general production-related dutiesMaintain cash and receipts for expense reimbursement and reconciliationProvide local area information to touring staffPick up and drop off company-rented 15-passenger and cargo vansLight administrative duties such as making copies, posting signs and cash reconciliationConfidentiality is very critical to the roleVarious special projects and tasks assignedQualifications21 years of age or olderValid driver's license with a good driving recordSafe driving habits a mustFriendly and personable, works well with others but also able to work independentlyPunctual, reliable, and responsibleProfessional and courteousAbility to work a long day (typical show day runs about 16 to 18 hours)Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentThorough knowledge of the local area preferred, but not requiredBring a passion for accomplishment and success and set high standards for performanceValue team-work and collaboration.
