Job Description Summary

The Regional Vice President Franchise Operations & Revenue Development fosters brand equity, best in class operations, and net unit growth by providing strategic field leadership for Sonesta’s Midscale> segment brands. Focused on revenue, guest satisfaction growth, and brand program execution, the position is responsible for leading a team of Regional Directors Franchise Operations & Revenue Development (RDORD) creating visible brand value for stakeholders.

Job Description

Principle duties and responsibilities (Essential Functions) include:

Delivers strategic leadership for the RDORD team to foster best in class franchise operations service and support delivery.Achieves KPIs including EBITDA contribution, owner satisfaction, RevPAR, RGI, GSI, and property visit frequency targets.Develops and implements strategies to optimize property revenue growth and guest satisfaction improvements, providing routine RDORD coaching, quality management, and people leadership to develop a consistent, professional, and engaged team delivering great customer experiences.Resolves escalated owner issues and concerns in balance with Sonesta objectives, owner sentiment and retention objectives.Develops and implements franchise service delivery models, adapting to the diverse markets, objectives, and brands Sonesta franchisees represent.Advocates the voice of the franchisee in balance with Sonesta objectives, to continuously improve brand programs development and implementation effectiveness.Develops regular department performance and support reports and socializes insights to inform cross-functional improvement opportunities and resource allocation.Supports Franchise Operations business planning processes and inter-department project management priorities and execution.

Qualifications and Skills

Experienced. Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in lieu of degree. 8+ years professional multi-unit hotel operations, brand, and revenue generation leadershipAn inspirational consultant:  You are dynamic yet can adapt to all business learning levels and styles. You must have the ability to multi-task across different disciplines and time zones utilizing multiple forms of communication including email, telephone, and written correspondence.Passionate. You create and deliver best in class hotel operations and sales support and take professional and personal interest in the success of your stakeholders.Flexible. You are adaptable and enjoy moving with changing business needs and priorities.   Up to 30% travel.Resourceful. You are collaborative, routinely interacting with key stakeholders and subject matter experts. Pay range: $126,000 to $154,000. Base pay offer may vary depending on various factors, including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills and job specific/overall experience.
