Serve private equity investors, their portfolio companies, and corporate clients on topics ranging from diligence through strategy and execution, focused on evaluating technology-driven markets, assessing technology companies, and helping technology companies solve their toughest challenges. Assist in leading workstreams and engagements, translating client needs into project tasks and deliverables. Oversee day-to-day problem solving and team based analytical activities. Serve as a liaison among consulting team members and clients.
Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with team members with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services focusing on more complex, judgmental and/or specialized issues. Demonstrate technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Learn about EY and its service lines and actively assess and present ways to apply knowledge and services.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field plus 2 years of combined experience in client advisory and/or strategic planning experience. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field plus 1 year of combined experience in client advisory and/or strategic planning experience.
Must have 1 year of experience working with one or a combination of the following: a multi-national or large-size technology strategy consulting firm, a technology strategy consulting practice group within a multi-national or large-size firm, and/or with a multi-national or large-size technology company.
Must have 1 year of quantitative experience including data analysis, interpreting output and generating insights for external or internal stakeholders.
Must have 1 year of experience authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.
Must have 1 year of experience providing thought leadership in the forms of customers presentations, public speaking, and content writing for blogs and case studies.
Must have 1 year of experience making detailed assessments of the software industry, products, markets, competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities.
Must have 1 year of experience in due diligence and/or value creation engagements for one or a combination of the software sectors: ERP, CRM, Digital Media, Mobile, Healthcare, and/or Government Technology.
Requires travel up to 30%, of which 5% may be international, to serve client needs.
