PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB:
An essential role that connects Country Sales Planning and Segments Demand and Supply Planning teams to coordinate S&OP Execution and facilitate Decision making to support business growth objectives.
MAJOR JOB REPSONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Implementation, training, and Management of the CFT (ensure actuals are uploaded, sales teams complete the monthly update as per deadline).
• Facilitate consolidation and alignment of forecasts and sales estimates across segments.
• Support to identify and address gaps with Cluster/Country Financial Estimate working with each segment.
• Prepare and facilitate the country One Newell DRM sign off session.
• In case of supply constraints and/or risks, support the coordination and prioritization with the Segments and provide country leadership team with visibility of the impact on the sales call.
• Coordinate the information about E/O with Sales and Supply Planning teams in the country and meetings to discussions action plans to reduce E/O in partnership with Sales Ops.
• Support S&OP Execution (One Newell Meetings: DRM, S&OE and Local IRM) with all segments.
• Provide monthly Country Planning KPIs and comments in a joint work with Sales Ops, Demand and Supply Planning segment teams and Customer Service. (WFA, Attainment, gap Sales Call & FCST, Inventory level, Fill Rate).
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE
• University Degree in Engineering or Business Administration Required.
• Desirable MBA in Business Management
• +5 years of combined experience in Demand, Supply and S&OP.
• Experience in dealing multicultural environment.
• Experience in Matrix Organizational structure
• Bilingual capabilities – Portuguese - English -Spanish.
• Experience in ERP systems (SAP, Datasul or similar and IBP), manufacturing process, purchasing, inventory management and materials planning.
• Knowledge/understanding of supply chain and inventory management processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to lead discussion and analysis with leadership level (GM, Local and Global Directors) and Managers / Supervisors of each area that is part of the S&OP process.
• Ability to map processes, perform and analyze data to support local team with business recommendations.
• Must have leadership skills to take ownership of process and interact with other areas to achieve results.
• Must be detail oriented and possess good organizational and prioritization skills.
• Must have ability to learn quickly and work under little supervision.
• Must be able to work with confidential information daily.
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to travel as needed.
