Then we have a great opportunity for you to support the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering, S&T Futures Division with research. A week in the life of a Science and Technology Roadmap Support SME: + Interface directly with government customers. + Evaluate new and emerging technology to address key technology modernization in Advanced Materials and other areas that leverage advanced materials. + Provide subject matter expertise and analysis to Government decision makers. + Analyze the state-of-the-art and emerging technical solutions to address Science and Technology Objectives. + Coordinate activities with other government teams and appropriate organizations to produce finished integrated products. + Perform other assigned tasks to ensure US technology development stays ahead of our potential adversaries. Job Requirements + 15 years of relevant experience. + Ph.D. in a relevant technical area + Top Secret Clearance (SCI Eligible) + Must have SME-level experience with Advanced Materials + Previous experience with Department of Defense RDT&E mission and processes. + Previous experience supporting Joint or OSD-level requirements.
