Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Service Associate in Rochester, New York. Operating in the field of customer service, the Service Associate will be responsible for handling customer inquiries and maintaining customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be expected to follow established policies and guidelines to ensure effective resolution of client complaints and claims.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications.
• Maintain and update customer credit records meticulously.
• Handle incoming calls from both active and terminated participants or employees, providing necessary information and assistance.
• Respond to inbound calls from client or employer plan administrators, ensuring their queries and concerns are addressed.
• Educate callers about S125 products, company policies, procedures, IRS guidelines, and regulations.
• Escalate tasks or documentation to other teams within the organization when necessary.
• Develop and maintain a basic understanding of the company's products and services.
• Utilize various systems and software packages, including HRIS, Salesforce, Flex Core Advanced, and ORS.
• Document all interactions meticulously, perform data entry tasks, and maintain strong prioritization and organization.
• Research and resolve problems as they arise, making use of strong computer skills and the ability to multi-task across multiple screens. Requirements • Proficient in customer service and answering inbound calls, preferably in a call center or contact center environment
• Ability to perform accurate and efficient data entry
• Experience in policy, procedures, and regulation adherence
• Strong research skills and the ability to handle complaints effectively
• Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in software packages such as Adobe Flex, Salesforce platform, and Paychex
• Familiarity with HRIS systems, health insurance, and employee benefit plans
• Proven track record in handling claim administration tasks
• Knowledge of IRS regulations and requirements
• Experience working in an insurance agency is a plus
• Proficient in planning, prioritization, and documentation tasks
• Ability to handle tasks such as photocopying and scanning documents efficiently
