The new system will be used by more than 20,000 employees daily, is foundational to all AZ entities and is central to most core business processes. This is a once in a generation programme for AstraZeneca and will craft our ways of working globally for many years to come.

What you'll do:

As an Enterprise Process Expert, you will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of business processes, systems, and technologies associated with the distribution of materials and finished goods within the Operations Supply Network. You will lead specified topics within the Transportation Management area including transportation planning, execution, monitoring, and transportation cost and settlement. You will also support the Enterprise Process Leads (EPL’s) to craft and deliver business processes that align with the strategic direction set by the Enterprise Process Owner (EPO).

Acts as a source of knowledge in one or more sub-processes, systems and technologies associated with Distribution process area.Defines, analyses and communicates current, interim and future business processes and improvement opportunities.Supports EPO/EPLs to design globally standardized processes by adopting SAP systems and capabilities, minimizing local customisation and deviation.Supports the development of new strategies to improve business processes and ensure business continuity, meeting current and future business needs.Networks with colleagues across the business to identify improvement opportunities and future business requirements.Collaborates with the programme and business partners in IT, Master Data and Analytics to define technology, data and analytics requirements for the business processes.Ensures non-SAP System requirements are understood and considered in the Business Process and Data designs.Supports the process mapping and documentation activities to appropriate level of details.Facilities knowledge sharing within the team and the programme.Leads/Supports the deployment and change activities.Establish influential and highly collaborative relationships with key regional partners.

Essentials:

SAP Transportation Management experienceSolid experience in Distribution or Logistics processes, preferably on a global or regional environmentGood Communication and Relationship Building skills with an ability to Influence others to achieve objectivesAbility to see the ‘bigger picture' while also have the capability to drill into detail in their own area of expertise.Ability to lead diverse teams, multiple cultures and negotiate different interests.Business Process Management knowledgeProficiency in English
