We are looking for a proactive individual to join our team as a Safety, Audit and Environment Operative based at the Inland Border Facility (IBF) in Ashford, Kent, handling transit movements of goods from the UK. Your key responsibilities will include:

Providing inductions to staff and visitors, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Assisting with parking, security, and inspection operations. Reporting to the Shift Operations Lead. Investigating accidents and incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions to prevent future risks. Health and Safety (including risk assessments and environment checks) Audits

What you bring:

IOSH or NEBOSH qualification desirable  Proficient in Microsoft office packages  Experience within a health and safety environment 

Please note that this position will be offered subject to security clearance – this requires a minimum of 3 years residency within the UK.

Package Description 40 hours per week 4 on, 4 off, 12 hour shifts, 06:00-18:00  Flexibility to work night shifts when required £27,200 - £32,000 per annum Sodexo rewards and benefits  About the Company
