What you'll do:

Plan and implement OHS policies and programsAdvise and lead employees on various safety-related topicsReview existing policies and proceduresAdhere to all the rules and regulationsWork with HR to set up a new employee on-boarding process for safetyEnforce preventive measuresCheck if all the employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulationsPrepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causesCoordinate all employee scheduled training and certificationsAssist with recruiting and new employee on-boardingPerform other special projects or duties when required

You'll need to have:

2 years of experience in a safety related roleHighschool diploma or equivalentKnowledge of safety rules and required PPEKnowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practicesExperience with writing policies and procedures for health and safetyIntermediate level understanding and usage of MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
