Role Details:
Reporting to Manager OHS, you will ensure compliance with safety management systems to maintain a safe and secure work environment for all employees in Surface and Underground operations at the Agnew.

This is offered on 8 days on 6 days off roster and is FIFO from Perth.

About the role:
Lead Risk and Compliance efforts for safety management systems across Surface and Underground operations against WHS Act 2020 and WHS Regulations 2022
Promote and maintain a high level of compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies and programs
Demonstrate full compliance with the OHS Management Systems’ standards by developing and participating in initiatives; leading toolbox meetings; investigations; training; assisting with the implementation; and participating in and contributing to audit
Efficiently manage and ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods
Reviewing Contractor Safe Work Procedures to confirm that these align with GFA
Conduct audits and inspections ensuring compliance with Site and Department standards
About you:
Completed tertiary degree in OH/Psychology
Minimum Cert IV OHS/ WHS, preferable formal qualifications.
Accredited AOD Tester
Extensive demonstrated experience in underground mining and safety operations
Previous leadership experience is highly regarded
Valid C class manual driver’s licence
Proven experience in developing site-specific procedures
Demonstrated understanding & application of relevant legislation
Intermediate level in Microsoft Office applications and document construction & review processes
