A unique WHS consulting opportunity exists within our Health and Safety Consulting practice in Sydney. The Safety Consultant role reports to the Managing H&S Consultant and is part of a team of specialist consultants who deliver WHS services, including risk assessments, incident investigations, workplace inspections, and providing advice and support to clients on all matters relating to WHS. The role works closely with the team to provide health and safety advice and assist with the development and implementation of WHS IT Solutions for clients.

We will count on you to:
Provide Health and Safety consulting and risk management services to Marsh clients by:
Supporting the team to implement WHS IT systems for our clients
Participating in client meetings and being responsible for collating and documenting client needs
Managing client requests and problem-solving to deliver client-first outcomes
Translating safety workflows into digital safety solutions
Providing WHS advice, including compliance and legislative updates
Developing and reviewing WHS management systems and/or documents
Undertaking WHS site and system audits and other WHS support services as required
Delivering high-quality written and verbal reports/advice with technical accuracy and timeliness for clients
Maintaining strong day-to-day relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
Following, promoting, and facilitating project management processes and procedures on all projects in accordance with Marsh operational requirements
Supporting the allocated Project Manager in executing assigned tasks or deliverables in a timely manner
What you need to have:
Tertiary degree in Work Health and Safety, Environment, Health and Safety (EHS)
1-2 years + experience in WHS advisory or a related role is desirable
Sound working knowledge of WHS and Safety legislation
Sound understanding of risk management principles and the ability to apply these principles in managing WHS hazards
WHS auditing
Understanding of ISO 45001

Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training (desirable)
Exemplar Global WHS auditor accreditation (desirable)
