Job Summary Safety Coordinator is responsible for safety, on the job training and quality activities at the station with an objective of reducing employee injuries, aircraft and equipment damages. Additionally, the safety coordinator is responsible for tasks described below as well as being a subject matter expert on various processes/systems/procedures as defined by the Director, Safety/Training. The expected pay rate is $19/hr. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays. Your activities Provide a safe guide on & or off fuel equipment and other company vehicles within aircraft gate parking or restricted visibility areas Prepare Aircraft with the required fueling equipment such as ladders or stands for the support of the fueling operations Provide support with the removal of any fueling equipment, when necessary Assist the fueling operations in a support mode with the aircraft fueling process of removal of equipment Assist by providing company support, materials such as Fuel tickets, electronic equipment ect to the fueling staff upon request Provide transportation to the fueling staff, utilizing company support vehicles Operation company support vehicles within all safety policies and procedures Obey all airport / customer /company driving regulations Your profile High school Diploma or equivalent Valid New York State Driver's License Ability to communicate with all levels of management Must be able to work in teams with minimal supervisor Flexible work schedule including events, weekends and holidays Ability to work under pressure Strong communications skills (verbal and written) What we offer 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance At Swissport, we believe in diversity, equal opportunity, and the power of our values to drive our success.
