\r\n\r\nPerform assigned duties to ensure that the facility conforms to regulatory and corporate environmental, health and safety policies. Act as site contact for EHS related matters.
\r\n\r\n\r\n\tFacilitate implementation of safety programs and required EHS standards\r\n\tConduct risk assessments to ensure compliance with corporate policies\r\n\tAct as the site contact for safety related matters\r\n\tDocuments and maintain records of all incidents including near misses\r\n\tFacilitate root cause analysis and action plan development for all recordable incidents\r\n\tConduct regular safety tours and safety talks and document attendance\r\n\tTrack the progress of action plans and provide updates to management team\r\n\tCoordinate with HR to ensure required training is assigned and completed by employees\r\n\tUnderstand and keep current with OSHA and other governmental regulations;\r\n\tCommunicating with other departments relating to Environmental, Safety and Health activities;\r\n\tReview contractor safety guidelines and practices to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies;\r\n\tOrganize plant Safety Committee, review committee audits and findings, and implement recommendations as applicable;\r\n\tCoordinate LOTO and other pertinent maintenance procedures with Maintenance Manager for compliance;\r\n\tMust promote a safe working environment and good GMP’s\r\n\r\n\r\nThis is Full Time Temp to Hire opportunity.

The ideal Safety Coordinator candidate will have:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\tAt least 3 years experience in manufacturing environment\r\n\tKnowledge of OSHA standards\r\n\tOSHA 10hr Certification preferred\r\n\tExcellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite\r\n\tAbility to multi-task and work independently\r\n\tAbility to work in a team and motivate others\r\n\r\n\r\nPay Rate: $26 per hour
\r\n\r\nPay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
