DESCRIPTION:
As a Safety Coordinator at WDF Inc., reporting to the Corporate EHS Director, you will have the opportunity to:
Maintains a SAFE jobsite, monitors safety and takes appropriate action to correct any safety issues or deficiencies. Coordinates with project overhead team and owners, as needed. Assesses Safety needs for training purposes. Ensures training requirements are adhered to and maintains all training documentation. Monitors sub-contractor safety training. Ensures Project(s) monthly safety statistics are reviewed for accuracy and forwarded to the Safety Director. Assists the General Superintendent with the development and monitoring of the job-specific safety plan. Perform day to day administrative tasks of the Safety Department including but not limited to maintaining spreadsheets, creating, updating, or filing confidential document, screen calls. Creates and distributes the minutes of the safety committee meetings. Reviews accident procedures with Superintendent. Completes incident reports and distributes and maintains incident documentation and files. Receives and monitors subcontractor safety reports and responds when discrepancies occur in monthly man-hour report. Perform additional tasks as required. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations to include health, safety, and welfare as appropriate.REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred, High School graduate or equivalent required. A minimum of two years of safety construction experience in the field required; administrative support experience required Experience in the use of Procure required Working knowledge of MS Word/Excel Excellent written and verbal skillsSalary Range for this position is $70,000 - $84,000 depending on experience
