**Job Description: Safety Coordinator (Construction)**
**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented **Safety Coordinator** to join our construction team. The Safety Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all safety protocols and procedures are upheld on-site, promoting a safe and compliant work environment. This includes verifying that safety inspections are completed, facilitating safety training, and actively engaging with the team to reinforce a culture of safety.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Ensure all safety inspections are being completed throughout the day and for all equipment.
+ Conduct regular safety walks to monitor compliance and identify potential hazards.
+ Complete and maintain policy and safety reports accurately and in a timely manner.
+ Guide and instruct workers on how to properly complete safety forms and reports.
+ Lead daily huddles to review safety protocols and procedures with the team.
+ Maintain a consistent presence in the field to verify compliance with all safety procedures.
+ Report safety observations, incidents, and updates directly to the Safety Officer.
+ Stay informed on OSHA standards, particularly **Subpart R - Steel Erection** , **Fall Protection** , **Rigging** , **Equipment Operation** , and **Material Handling** .
+ Demonstrate willingness to travel as needed to meet project demands and grow within the company.
**Qualifications:**
+ Strong understanding of OSHA standards and regulations.
+ Experience in construction safety coordination or a related role.
+ Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
+ Proactive attitude with the ability to enforce safety measures effectively.
+ Commitment to pursuing and completing OSHA 5 and OSHA 10 certifications if not already obtained.
**Compensation:**
+ Pay range: $30–$45 per hour, depending on experience.

**Pay Details:** $30.00 to $45.00 per hour
