The Safety Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of division safety performance, reporting, and adherence.

Responsibilities Environmental, OSHA, Health, & Safety Recordkeeping and ReportingAssist in the development and implementation of safety controlsSafety compliance with Federal, State and Local lawsCoordinating, conducting, and tracking monthly safety training and eventsNew Hire orientation and trainingSafety alert distribution and preparationCorporate reporting dutiesPerform safety audits and walk throughs and communicate the resultsPolicy and Program maintenance and reviewsSafety process improvement project managementJSA, LOTOTO, SOP, and Risk Assessment development and revisionsIncident investigation, review, and follow-upMedical case management Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in safety or a safety-related field and/or 3-yrs or more experience in a safety function in a heavy industrial environmentAbility to skillfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projectsHighly effective communication skillsSome Travel requirements – intercompany, education, & benchmarkingFirst Aid/CPR/AED/Fall Protection Competent Person CertifiedExcellent computer skills preferably in Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook
