Job Description:

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc., in the Upstate of South Carolina is hiring a Safety Intern – Distribution Center (Spring or Summer 2025).

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Safety Intern to join our team at a distribution center in the Upstate, SC area. This position offers hands-on experience in safety management, project management, and compliance. The intern will contribute to critical safety projects and gain exposure to a variety of safety practices within a fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Training Support:Assist in developing and delivering safety training programs.Organize and maintain training records and materials.Audits and Inspections:Conduct safety audits and facility inspections to identify hazards.Document findings and recommend corrective actions.Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) Observations:Perform behavior-based safety observations.Analyze data to identify trends and propose improvements.Program Organization and Documentation:Review and update written safety programs and policies.Ensure documents are compliant with OSHA standards and company policies.Incident Investigation Support:Assist with incident investigations and reporting.Help develop preventive measures based on findings.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Health, or a related field.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Previous experience in a safety-related role (preferred but not required).
