Address: 1200 Forest St, Eau Claire, WI 54703, Schedule: Flexible, but must be able to do 8 hour days. Part time and full time availability will be considered  8am-5pm Pay: $22/hr  Start date: January 2025

Being an intern or student at Cascades is a unique opportunity to define your interests and discover your passion within the team of ANDY PETERSON, as our new Safety Intern- January 2025:
 

Assist with administrative tasks, including the evaluation and optimization of safety management systems. Conduct manual data entry and manage documentation related to lockout/tagout procedures within the system. Gather and analyze feedback from employees regarding potential safety improvements and identified risks. Perform regular floor inspections to assess safety compliance and identify hazards. Collaborate on the revamping and enhancement of existing safety procedures and policies. Respond to and investigate various safety incidents, documenting findings and recommendations. Participate in risk assessment activities to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards. Attend and contribute to safety meetings, fostering a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a safety program or a related field of study, demonstrating a commitment to safety principles and practices. Strong comunication skills: Ability to effectively communicate safety concepts and protocols to diverse audiences Problem solving skills: Ability to identify safety risks and propose actionable solutions
