Provide safety knowledge, administrative support, and expertise where needed.

 

This is a Summer 2025 Internship.

Responsibilities Maintain OSHA complianceUpdate required safety programs (LOTO, confined space, etc.)Conduct site auditsFollow up with management to complete deficienciesParticipate in compliance requests and activities pertaining to the divisionProvide reports and be a resource to management and employeesUpdate Job Safety Analyses (JSA)Assist in hands on training includingNew hire orientationFire extinguisher trainingFirst responder trainingOther projects as assigned Qualifications Candidate should be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in a safety related majorMust have completed at least freshman yearPreferred GPA of at least 2.7Must be willing to conduct safety audits in an industrial settingMust have knowledge of OSHA standards for general industryMust be highly organized and have a strong ability to multitaskExceptional communication skillsStrong analytical and issue identification, prioritization and resolution skillsAbility to work successfully both independently and as part of a teamMust be able to act objectively and within the strictest environment of confidentialityMust be highly proficient with PC applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
