What you’ll do:

Develop and implement comprehensive safety program and policies.Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.Endure compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.Assist with incident investigations and root cause analyses for all work-related incidents.Coordinate and conduct safety training sessions, including train-the-trainer sessions.Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents, training and compliance.Ability to gather statistical information and monitor and report on safety performant metrics.Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.

What you’ll need to have:

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Environmental Management or equivalent experience in a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety management role within a manufacturing environment.In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.Must be a self-starter, able to handle multiple tasks and maintain priorities and organization with minimum supervision.
