Allied Universal is looking to hire an Manager, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE). The Manager, Health, Safety and Environment provides direct management of various Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) functions and support for the rollout and implementation of safety programs, policies, and new initiatives. This role ensures that management and project personnel are aware of, and in compliance with, all regulatory agencies, such as OSHA, EPA, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the implementation of new policies and initiatives and advise on overall safety concernsAssist in developing the overall strategy of continuous improvement for Health, Safety & Environment standardsDevelop, revise, and implement company health, safety and environment policies and programs and procedures and provide HSE technical expertiseQUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Emergency Management, or related fieldCurrent Associate Safety Professional (ASP), or be able to obtain ASP within 12 months of hire and CSP within 24 monthsCurrent Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or be able to obtain CSP within 12 months if currently ASP certifiedConstruction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification and/or foreign (non-US) certificationsCompletion of either the OSHA 500 course for the construction industry or the 501 course for general industry or achieved within 12 months of hireMinimum of five (5) years of health and safety related management experience within the safety environmentMinimum of three (3) years of operations safety experienceWork history must demonstrate a working knowledge of the regulatory agencies, regulations, and guidelinesBENEFITS:
