Safety & Reliability Engineer

We have an opportunity for a Safety & Reliability Engineer to join our Honeywell team in Krakow.

In this role, you will ensure that the INS (inertial navigation system) products will be developed, designed, produced, and supported according to the state-of-art and applicable safety standards associated with airworthiness regulations, allowing you to be exposed to cutting-edge technologies in the segment. You will be responsible for analyzing candidate designs products developed in terms of verification and satisfaction of reliability and maintainability objectives. Working in this role, you will be able to enhance your skills, technical and other, and grow consistently, while being a part of a collaborative and supportive team.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office, 2 from home.

Key Responsibilities

Organize, perform activities, and produce documentation for the \"Safety Assessment\" of inertial systems for civil and military aircraft according to ARP4761 (FHA, PSSA, SSA, Fault Trees, Quantitative and Qualitative Assessments).Specify and support the validation and verification activities of system requirements, according to ARP4754A.Be the responsible point-of-contact for the coordination and management of safety activities with external suppliers, including document review and acceptance.Generate, manage, and verify Reliability documentation (FMES, FMEA, FMECA).Generate, manage, and verify Maintainability documentation.

Key requirements

University degree in Electronics, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or equivalent.Knowledge and experience in applying the guidelines ARP4761 and ARP4754A.Systems Engineering/V Model in Aviation or other complex product development industry processes.Knowledge of main reliability standards (MIL-STD-785B, MIL-HDBK-217F N2, ANSI/VITA Telecordia, MIL-HDBK-338B).Proficiency with English language (minimum at intermediate level), good proficiency in Italian is desirable.
