Ensures a safe and secure living and working environment for students and staff. Conducts investigations of accidents and incidents with the goal of resolution and reduction of future occurrences. Uses proper judgment and discretion to resolve student and staff issues and concerns. o Developing and implementing health and safety plans o Enforcing policies and assessing risk o Ensuring compliance with legal guidelines o Conducting training and investigating incidents o Providing recommendations for improvement o Managing security operations o Conducting safety assessments o Training staff in security awareness o Coordinating with law enforcement agencies in emergencies o Other duties as assigned. About Brunswick Job Corps Center The Brunswick Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Administration Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Plumbing, Painting, Security and Protective Services, HVAC, Landscaping, Electrical, and Building Construction Technology. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree from an accredited school or related certifications preferred. A minimum of three years’ experience in military, law enforcement and/or safety management required. OSHA Certification required. Must possess a valid in-State Driver’s License and meet Company insurability requirements. DOL approval required if reporting to the Center Director. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching.
