Local candidates only at this time!   The plant level Safety Specialist will support the safety performance for a large distribution center and report to the Safety Manager on site.     Must have working knowledge in areas of OSHA regulations including workers compensation, health and wellness.  DOT experience is a plus and not required. Track, analyze and make improvement recommendations of safety metrics.     The culture of the company is a “roll up your sleeves” mentality, therefore, this position is looking for someone that enjoys daily plant operations and being hands-on.
