Position Overview:
The Safety Trainer is an integral part of the Training Team providing instruction on a variety of safety topics. They will provide classroom instruction along with practical application for equipment including, but not limited to, forklifts, scissors lift, and overhead crane. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and compliant workplace environment.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Develop and implement safety training programs in accordance with OSHA standards and regulations.Conduct training sessions on workplace safety, hazard recognition, and emergency response procedures.Provide hands-on training for the safe operation of factory equipment.Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and certifications. Stay up-to-date with the latest OSHA regulations and industry best practices. Collaborate with management to identify safety training needs and develop customized training solutions.To thrive in this role, you have:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational, Health, and Safety; Industrial Engineering, or a related field. OSHA certified trainerMinimum of 5 years of experience in safety training, preferably in a factory or industrial settingCertified Safety Professional (CSP) preferredIn-depth knowledge of OSHA standards and regulationsExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to conduct hands-on training and demonstrate the safe use of equipmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical Demands:

The base salary range for this position in North Carolina is $89,300- $105,000. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
