Summary:
The Fernandes Center & Operations Manager reports directly to Director of Director of
Rehabilitation Pain Management Interpreter Services and the Fernandes Center
for Children and Families.
This
position coordinates and implements daily and long-term projects to meet the
high demand of Outpatient Pediatric Services: Developmental Pediatrics Behavioral
Health Nutrition and Rehabilitation Services.
Responsibilities:
�
Responsible for EMR oversight in all areas through support
and guidance to staff managing dictionaries schedules and reconciliation of
all charges.
�
Oversees production and maintenance of department
statistics. Reviews and analyzes statistics to determine effectiveness of the schedule
and all associated policies/procedures.
�
Works with the team to define opportunities to improve
processes through rounding identifying trends offer solutions and works with
team to implement change.
�
Responsible for bi-weekly payroll for direct reports.
�
Works closely with supply chain to maintain supplies
throughout the department.
�
Will assume responsibilities for management of front office
staff.
�
Develops tracking systems to help measure and report
progress on practice and quality improvements.
�
Processes correspondence presentations reports records
and forms establishing priorities to ensure that deadlines are met.
�
Assist in special projects as requested.
�
Attend department meetings.
�
Responsible for productivity and overtime management in
conjunction with the Director of the Department.
�
Assumes day to day operations in the absence of the
Director.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
� Three-five years of management experience in a hospital setting.
� Must demonstrate excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
� Strong computer proficiency required including Microsoft internet hospital information systems
� Is cooperative in interactions treating customers with courtesy respect and compassion.
� Is patient when responding to questions and answers questions appropriately.
� Responds to requests in a timely manner.

EDUCATION
� Associates Degree preferred; 3-5 years of progressive supervisory experience.
