Summary:
The RN is responsible for providing direct patient care based on the nursing process within assigned work periods. They function as a member of a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes consistent with the comprehensive plan of care. The RN participates in activities to achieve clinical financial and organizational outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Knowledge of nursing process social behavioral and biological sciences normally acquired via approved nursing program.
Able to provide age and culturally specific care to the population served.
Ability to analyze data to synthesize and summarize information and to make judgements regarding patient care.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
For specialty areas related experience and qualifications may be required.
EDUCATION:
Associate's degree from an accredited school of nursing. BSN strongly preferred.
MA RN license and BLS required (Some departments require ACLS or PALS)
