The Sales Account Manager is responsible for cultivating relationships with current customers, developing new business in the Healthcare market, and growing the revenues of Healthcare products and services to current and potential customers within an assigned region.  The Sales Account Manager will prepare action plans and schedules to identify customer targets for expanding existing business and acquiring new business, identify, develop and follow-up on new leads, prospects & referrals, prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts, develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.  This position must be able to work and communicate effectively with Operations, Engineering, R&D, Customer Service, Marketing and Sales Management to assure sales growth, establish and maintain current client and potential customer relationships, and identify and resolve customer concerns.

Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.Substantially growing the revenues of Healthcare products & services to current and potential customers within assigned region.Prepare action plans and schedules to identify the Healthcare segment’s customer targets for expanding existing business and acquiring new business.Identify, develop and follow-up on new leads, prospects & referrals resulting from marketing activities.Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts when required.Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.Be able to work and communicate effectively with Operations, Engineering, R&D, Customer Service, Marketing and Sales Management to assure sales growth.Establish and maintain current client and potential customer relationships.Identify and resolve customer concerns by being proactive and by incorporating research and finding from and NPD activities.Gain share from competitors by highlighting the value chain proposition and by differentiating the company’s products and services as long-term partnerships opportunities with customers.Using Salesforce, prepare a variety of reports including call reports, expense reports, monthly sales reports for customer performance and evaluate appropriate business actions, forecast annual territory sales, report pertinent customer data, gather and report on competitive activity and other relevant information.Lead the sales funnel management to ensure proper visibility of opportunities and that opportunities are advanced through a rigorous countermeasure process.Set and meet aggressive sales targets designed to achieve double digit growth on an annual basis by gaining share from competitors and by identifying new opportunitiesEstablish a recurring revenue model with key customersAchieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals within assigned territory under his/her responsibility.Direct annual sales forecasting and annual sales budget for assigned territory and establish specific action plans to attain agreed upon targets. Qualifications Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, or relevant experience preferred3-5 years of minimum of proven sales experience, preferred in the healthcare packaging industry Knowledge of pharmaceutical and/or healthcare customers and applications highly desiredSolid experience in working with small to large pharmaceutical customers a plusExperience with CRM – Salesforce.com a plusAbility to persuade and influence othersStrong communication and writing skills required.Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPointProven track record of successfully increasing revenue at level substantially above market growth levels.Supervisory Responsibilities

Physical Demands

This role primarily involves sedentary work, requiring the ability to sit for extended periods, stand and walk occasionally to access files or office equipment, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and other office machinery; may need to lift and carry light items up to 10 pounds occasionally. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the building to access other offices, meeting rooms, and equipment in the facility. The person in this position frequently communicates with customers, vendors, and co-workers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
