If so, we’d love for you to join our fun and creative team at Kafoodle and take the lead in expanding existing customer relationships and forging new ones for our award-winning, food-tech Saas solution. We are a collaborative, engaging and innovative team and we are looking to expand our sales and accounts team.

You will work closely with the Director of Client Services and Customer Success teams and be responsible for both existing accounts and new business.

You don’t need experience in this sector but a love of food helps!


Background: Following launch in 2014, Kafoodle has grown steadily with recurring revenue doubling in the last year. Now, as part of the acquisition by 365 Retail Markets, the company is well placed to grow further and faster in the coming years.


Kafoodle’s Corporate Objective: To become the leading provider of SaaS for corporate and hospitality catering, globally.


About Kafoodle: Kafoodle is a software platform for commercial kitchens helping them manage recipes, menus, nutrition, food labelling and much more. Customers include well-known contract caterers (amongst them some of the largest catering businesses in the world) and retail and restaurant chains.

Role Key Objectives:

Work closely with the Director of Client Services to ensure a smooth transition from sales to customer success and take the lead on new business sales from cold calls to closing.Drive growth by nurturing and expanding a portfolio of existing Kafoodle accounts.Liaise closely with the Customer Success and Marketing Teams to ensure that every Kafoodle customer has a 5-star experience.Be a team player, happy to undertake any ‘sleeves up’ admin tasks as required.


Specific Responsibilities

New business sales, from cold-calls and networking to demos, contract negotiations and closing. Experience with tenders and RFP’s a plus.Up and cross sell the Kafoodle, Spoonfed and 365 product portfolio to a range of exciting SMB and Enterprise customers.With our support, you will get up to speed quickly with the products, onboarding and customer service processes.Establish and nurture new and productive relationships with executives at all levels.Identify opportunities and prepare and present dynamic business presentations and proposals.Move deals through the pipeline all the way to close and fully document every step in our CRM (communication is key).Report regularly on commercial performance versus target and deal progress to the Commercial Director and offer your input on business and sales strategies.Leverage personal and corporate social media activity.Invite key customers to trade shows and industry associations (e.g., Arena) to build relationships & showcase new products and features.


Requirements Educated to degree level preferred but not mandatory. We welcome all candidates, including individuals from non-traditional and varied backgrounds that might not come from a typical path. We believe skills and experience are transferable.Account management and new business sales experience. Account planning and consultative sales training/experience a plus.Excited to deliver business growth.A full appreciation of what makes for excellent customer service.Excellent communication skills with ability to work with individuals at a senior level.Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel & Powerpoint.Friendly and approachable.20% travel, as required, predominantly in the UK and potentially European markets.Flexible working environment but we’ll ask for 1-2 days in the London office for team-building
