Works with customers to find what they want, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. **Detailed Description:** Establish new accounts by organizing and planning daily work schedule to build on existing or potential sales outlets Study the type of sales outlet and adjust content of sales presentations Study potential volume of dealers and focus on sales efforts Make and submit quotations by referring to product literature and price lists Gather current marketplace information on newly introduced products, delivery schedules, pricing, and merchandising techniques in order to monitor competition Investigate problems; prepare reports; develop solutions, and make recommendations to management in order to resolve customer complaints Attend educational workshops; review publications, and be involved in professional societies Provide historical records by keeping records on customer inquiries and sales Contribute to team efforts in accomplishing organizational goals. Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales Daily availability to include evenings and weekends when necessary to reach goals and deadlines. Continually update opportunities in Salesforce for accurate forecasting and be able to discuss weekly changes with detail. Keeps detailed expense records. Prepares and submits expense reports in a timely manner. Travel within territory frequently to visit existing and potential customers and attend meetings, shows, workshops. Sometimes traveling outside of territory to attend sales meetings or national shows required. Deliver presentations on products to existing and potential customers via Teams or in person. **Preferred Skills/Experience Requirements:** Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree (B.S.), preferably in chemistry, from a four-year college or university in related field and 1-5 years of directly related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills • MS Excel Spreadsheet software • Sales & Marketing Software Tools • Keyboard Calculator Travel Ability: • Ability to travel (domestically) up to 60% Preferred Skills/Experience: • Basic Knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100 is a plus • Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus **Salary Range:** $74,800.00-$99,880.000 **Pay Transparency** The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
