The Sales Administrator will provide support and perform various functions to ensure an effective relationship between Sales Administrators, Sales Representatives, and Customers. This role is essential in processing orders, maintaining documentation, and ensuring smooth communication within the sales team.
Responsibilities
+ Process Purchase Orders, customer order confirmations, and Boat Tickets.
+ Prepare all forms of billing and material releases.
+ Maintain documentation from mills and vendors, including editing, DocSTARing, and printing.
+ Review and approve Inbounds & Out-bounds and Delivery notes.
+ Adhere to all special requirements for Sales Representatives' individual programs.
+ Handle all forms of communication with Warehouses and Sales Administrators.
+ Conduct inventory reconciliation.
+ Prepare necessary data reports, including Customer Reports, Open SO Reports, Order Trackers, and Inventory.
+ Provide coverage for the Sales Administration Support Team.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and MS Excel 2010.
+ Excellent time management skills.
+ Experience with multi-line phone systems.
+ Ability to prioritize own workload.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Order processing experience.
+ Strong administrative support skills.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
+ Experience in order entry.
+ Capability to work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Extreme attention to detail.
+ Organized, particularly with email inbox management.
+ Customer service experience.
+ Data entry skills.
+ Sales support and administration experience.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position in a normal office environment. The role offers a flexible schedule with the option to work from home three days a week and in the office one day a week. Wednesdays are typically mandatory in-office days, with the other in-office day based on manager and employee preference. The work environment is fast-paced, providing plenty of room for growth and the opportunity to transition into a sales role.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
