This position will work in conjunction with the Sales Team to identify, develop, implement and analyze strategic sales plans across the specified customers and COT. The incumbent must understand and help execute all steps in the goto-market process that is associated with launching programs within these retailers. Candidate will also be responsible for tracking, interpreting and reporting sales and promotional results versus HBI annual plans. In addition, leverage market insights and learnings to assist the sale team in identifying opportunities to increase top line sales, market share, profitability and exceed company sales goals. Best in class organization and communication skills are a must, as this role will interface directly with retail buyers, planners and replenishment/inventory specialists, who are responsible for these retail businesses.

 

Responsibilities

Support two Sr Sales Manager who are responsible for the Dollar/Food/Drug classes of trade with day to day as needed support including but not limited to item setups, maintenance and PO pricing actions. Weekly gather data from retailer systems to maintain, by style retail sales reports, to measure performance against benchmark goals. Develop deep-dive data collection and provide output analysis that identifies opportunities to grow the business. (door expansion, over/underperforming SKU’s, etc). Develop, maintain and analyze HBI retail promotional plans and our key competitors activities. In partnership with the sales manager, interface with retailer merchant teams to discuss business results, assortment decisions both ongoing and seasonal as well as marketing and instore activation for key events. Develop cross-functional relationships with internal key Growth Team contacts to understand brand/category strategies in order to smoothly implement at key accounts. Manage Events and Purchase Order tracking for new program launches and promotional selling periods to visibility to Supply Chain and on time execution. Gather sales samples as required for planogram sets, sell-in meetings, etc. Support digital/ecommerce growth by organizing digital assets and maintaining PDP page selling details to elevate the consumer experience and brand image.

Minimum Education/ Experience

Bachelor's degree with 3+ years relevant work experience OR Master's + 1+ relevant work experience; 4+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree.

Specific Skills or Experience Required

BA/BS required Strong PC/spreadsheet and analytical skills. Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and work independently. Experience with 1010 data portal, Circana/IRI and STIBO is preferred. Experience selling to Dollar General is preferred.

Data Analysis: Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data from retailer systems to generate reports and identify business opportunities. Retail Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with retailer systems for item setups, maintenance, and PO pricing actions. Promotional Planning: Experience in developing and analyzing retail promotional plans and competitor activities. Digital/Ecommerce Management: Skills in organizing digital assets and maintaining product detail pages (PDP) to enhance the consumer experience. Deep-Dive Analysis: Proficiency in conducting detailed data collection and output analysis to identify growth opportunities. Performance Measurement: Ability to measure performance against benchmark goals and provide actionable insights. Collaboration: Strong ability to develop cross-functional relationships with internal teams and external retailer merchant teams. Communication: Effective communication skills to discuss business results, assortment decisions, and marketing strategies with stakeholders. Accuracy: Ensuring precision in data collection, report generation, and promotional plan analysis. Detail-Oriented: Maintaining meticulous records and organizing digital assets effectively.
