Sales Analyst

Job Description:

The Sales Analyst will support the National Accounts team, ensuring all operational needs of the business are executed effectively and efficiently to deliver on overall segment objectives and mutually aligned customer business plans (i.e. deal sheets, tracking/tool maintenance, deductions, POS reporting).  They will manage customer relationships with Merchants to resolve and ensure accurate execution.

Where direct banner responsibilities exist, the Sales Analyst, will provide the customer(s) with category information in support of growth  through management of all Sales fundamentals (Distribution, Display, Shelf, Price, Promotions) against annual business priorities as well as manage day to day relationship directly internally/externally.  They will leverage multi-functional resource alignment to maximize customer engagement and participate in determining strategy by anticipating and advocating for customer needs.

What are we looking for?

Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent

CPG experience preferred

Understanding of key software enablers (LDIA, Retail Link, Nielsen, etc.)Ability to penetrate customers and form relationships at Lower levels of the organizationFluent understanding of forecasting and trade management systemExcellent customer business management skills.Strong communication skills.Category management experience & strong analytical skills an asset

What will be your key responsibilities?Supports team with day-to-day operational account management support leveraging increased levels of technology and improving processes to drive efficiency.  Maintains and tracks business support tools.
