**Sales and Business Development Manager**
Our client, a leading heavy industrial manufacturer in Somerset Country, NJ is seeking a dynamic and experienced **Sales and Business Development Manager** to provide strategic sales insight and drive the growth of our Industrial Manufactured Products division.
**Key Responsibilities** :
+ Lead the sales organization to achieve growth by securing new customers and strengthening relationships with existing ones.
+ Develop and optimize a sales process tailored to our engineered and custom-manufactured products.
+ Promote the company’s vision and establish long-term partnerships with customers to drive sales.
+ Utilize the Corporate CRM to measure and evaluate sales and estimating opportunities.
+ Engage with customers to assess their applications, enabling precise product selection and estimation.
+ Prepare detailed estimates and quotations based on customer engagement and incoming leads.
+ Create and implement a marketing plan, including web and print advertising, and represent the company at trade shows.
+ Explore and execute new sales channels to expand revenue opportunities.
+ Collaborate with operations and production teams to align strategic goals and ensure seamless project handoffs.
+ Travel as needed to visit key accounts and establish a distribution network.
**Required Skills and Qualifications** :
+ Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering.
+ 10+ years of experience leading an industrial sales organization.
+ Strong technical background in mechanical equipment and application engineering.
+ Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales initiatives.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and experience with Dynamics CRM or similar tools.
+ Excellent presentation and sales skills with a customer-focused approach.
+ Ability to travel domestically as required.
**Preferred Attributes** :
+ Proven experience in sales and estimating for engineered and custom-manufactured products.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, technical sales environment.
+ In-office availability preferred; hybrid/remote options available for exceptional candidates.

**Location** : Flexible (In-office preferred (Somerset County; remote/hybrid considered for highly qualified candidates)
**Compensation** : Base salary plus commission, with total compensation of $130,000–$160,000 in an average/good year.
